I started to understand the importance of athletic training through my successful experiences with the sport of football. I started to extremely excell in high school as a running back for Saint Peter's Prep H.S. During my stay I was All County, All State, and played a major role in winning the 1994-1995 NJSIAA State Championship. This success propelled me to receive a full scholarship with Hofstra University.

At Hofstra I was a 3 year starter. I received Freshman Offensive Player of the Year honors, I made two time tri-state player of the month; however, it was when I started to train with the NY Jets during the off-season that I found myself interested in sports conditioning. I discovered that not only can I achieive at my  sport but I also had a talent for teaching others the art of explosive conditioning.

Therefore, I immediately decided to enter the "sports specific" training industry. I am currently a Personal and Specialized Trainer for Plus One. In which I train Fortune 100 executives. In addition, I had the privelege to be a group instructor for Medefit.  I am also a sports conditioning coach for IMSports which includes training Boxing, Muay Thai, and Jui Jitsu fighters. As I develop my experiences I have noticed that off-season training is essential for the athlete-and so- Xplosiv  Performance has had the opportunity to work with Saint Peter'sPrep H.S., North Bergen H.S., Memorial H.S., and Saint Dominic's Academy.

I began my fitness career pursuing football at the age of 6. I was a two-sport athlete playing football & basketball. Yet- I mostly excelled in football until… I tore my anterior cruciate ligament or ACL freshman year of high school. I played football without an ACL until freshman year at Saint Peter’s College.

As I realized that football was not in the cards, I pursued other competitive sports. I started with Xplosiv Performance sophomore year of college. Afterwards, I wanted to become an elite Instructor, by achieving a double minor in Exercise Science.  I also became a Certified Fitness Trainer with the International Sports Science Association (ISSA). But… I knew all the knowledge in the world would not help unless I took action. So to increase my trainer prowess I undertook Enshin or Sabaki a full contact Martial Art. I studied the style for only three months due to the ever-old tradition of the belt system.  Like the legendary Bruce Lee says, “Belts are meant to hold up your pants!” I had two successful fights in the Sabaki system placing 2nd and 3rd.

After four years in New Jersey, I decided to move to Phoenix, Arizona. In the West Coast I trained in Mixed Martial Arts or MMA with the Arizona School of combat in Tempe, Arizona. In addition, I competed in three non-promotional cage fights in downtown Phoenix 2wins 1 DQ (disqualification).  After four months I decided to help run a sports conditioning program in San Diego, California. I also got the opportunity to train with big named UFC fighters.

I then relocated back to New Jersey and reintroduced myself to the Xplosiv Performance populous. I am currently pursuing a Muay Thai Certification. I personally enjoy training athletes because I can put my knowledge to action-to help the client achieve their athletic future.
