Q: Is Xplosiv Performance training only for
elite athletes?
A: No. The program that will be followed is designed to progress at the athletes pace.
The program is designed to help the athlete eventually become the best athlete he or she can be. So, whether your child currently
excels at the sports that they play or not, there is always room to get better, and sometimes the ones that need to improve
the most have more room to grow in the program.
Q: What type of training is involved with Xplosiv Performance Camp?
In other words what will athletes be doing while going through the program?
A: The main goal of the program
at Xplosiv Performance Camp is to increase overall athletic ability. In order to do this an individual needs to increase
their power, strength, speed, agility, flexibility and endurance. Every session includes exercises and drills that will help
the athlete to improve in each area.
Q: Is the training done at Xplosiv Performance Training Camp safe?
A:
Absolutely. Any athletic activity always has some risk, but Xplosiv Performance Camp’s program is actually safer than
competition. We do everything possible to create a safe and productive atmosphere while athletes are training within our facility.
With the strength training portion of our program, it follows an extremely safe progression that emphasizes technique and
not how much weight can be lifted. Also, one of the main goals of the program is that as athletes continue to train, they
will reduce the chance of injury when they are competing in the sports that they play.
Q: Are there any other benefits
to attending Xplosiv Performance Camp?
A: Yes. Childhood obesity continues to be a problem in America.
Athletes and youths who consistently train with a program designed like Xplosiv Performance Camp’s will reduce body
fat and increase muscle tone. Also, most children’s self-esteem will increase as his or her athletic abilities are improved.
Q: Is Xplosiv Performance Camp’s program only designed for certain sports?
A: No. As stated
before the program the athletes will be following is designed to increase the attributes that are needed to compete in almost
every sport: power, strength, speed, agility, flexibility and endurance. If the program is followed on a consistent basis
then these athletic qualities will be improved and can then be passed on to the field of play.
Q: When will an
athlete who trains with Xplosiv Performance Camp’s program start to see results?
A: Every athlete
responds to training differently, but the more consistent an athlete is with their training the better results he or she will
have. Athletes starting the program should start to see results in as little as 3 weeks, but will see greater changes the
more that they train. Just like other skills in sports if you want to get better at something you have to work at it. If you
want to be able to hit the ball better, you take batting practice. If you want to be able to shoot better in basketball, you
practice shooting baskets. If you want to have better foot speed or get stronger, you have to train to do it. However, with
any type of training you have to make sure you do it the right way, under the right guidance. Xplosiv Athletic Performance
Camp’s summer program and group sessions provide the right program and guidance for all athletes. |
